The creation of the Award was motivated by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, whose goal is supporting disabled entrepreneurs and also raising awareness of the skills and inventiveness of those with disabilities.
The winning disabled entrepreneur will be awarded a £50,000 prize to fund the further growth of their business. Can you answer yes to these questions:
Do you have a recognised disability (see Disability Discrimination Act guidelines on disability)?
Do you own at least a 25% management stake in your company?
Does your business have a turnover in excess of £10,000?
Have you been trading for between 1 and 5 years?
Do you own a UK registered business?
