Every business and probably individual around the UK has, by now seen an episode, of the famous TV series ‘Dragons Den’ which was first transmitted on BBC Two in January 2005 and aired its seventh series in the summer of 2009.
Entrepreneurs pitch for investment in the Den from the Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.
Since series five, the five Dragons have been Duncan Bannatyne, James Caan, Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis.
As of 30th June 2009, these five Dragons have agreed to investments totalling over a whopping £5.5 million.
