Getting up in the morning for some people isn’t a desired re-action, or maybe that was just me and my family, either way that changed for me when I started working at brighter directions. I actually enjoy getting up in the morning and coming to work.
Maybe it’s because the office is full of lovely ladies, like Katie the sales girl or Sahara in Marketing, both of whom have appeared on this very blog for you to get to know about, but I think the real reason I get up to come to work is the fact that I was gifted a great opportunity to do something I would enjoy by a special lady, owner and founder of Brighter Directions, Claire Curzon.
I have never been given the opportunity to work to my own ability, and move in a direction more suited for my skillset or frame of mind until I was employed at Brighter Directions.
With only working in factories and more physically demanding jobs in the past, It became evident there was no real future. So it was a really welcome change to be able to use my mind and look forward to becoming more than just a number in an uncaring environment.
I am now the very proud web developer at Brighter Directions. I look forward to the day, and when I get started I hate to have to stop, in fact at times, I don’t stop and I carry on for a short time when I get home. So if you’re a client with a web site being developed by this company then expect it to be finished quite promptly, because I love to do my job!

As a web developer my role includes communicating with clients to give them exactly what they desire, for their business needs. SEO and CMS are among the common requirements as well as making the overall look of the website, reflect the client’s business. Once the initial communication and objectives have been set I make the mock-ups and feedback to the client, then once any required amendments have been made I make the real thing.
The websites are made to comply with W3C standards, the governing body of universal HTML, CSS, XML and other programming languages used, in the development of websites. This ensures that the work we do for our clients is of a high professional standard of website development. After all no-one wants sub-standard products like that which so many cowboys provide out there. I take my work seriously and I don’t skip on any of the important details no matter how small.
My future is definitely heading towards a brighter direction and I hope you all can see that and agree. Try hard, believe and achieve better.
